Used for cutting external UNC coarse (Unified National Course) thread, like commonly used in the USA. DIN-EN 22568. For tapping of (alloyed) steels with tensile strength < 800 N/mm². Material groups: 1.1 - 1.2 - 1.3 - 4.2.
